How To Get Here...

From Woods Hole: The main ferry to the Island sails from Woods Hole. The ferry carries both passengers and cars, and sails every day, year-round. The trip is approximately 45 minutes and docks in Vineyard Haven, or in the summer, sometimes in Oak Bluffs. If you are traveling by car, leave the ferry terminal and follow the signs to Edgartown. Follow the map above to the hotel. Bus and/or taxi service is available to the Clarion Martha's Vineyard from the ferry terminals.

From New York: Follow Route I-95 to Providence, then take I-195 East. From I-195 East, take Route 25 East (I-495 South), cross the Bourne Bridge, and follow Route 28 South to Falmouth and Woods Hole. From Boston: Follow Route 3 to the Sagamore Bridge. Take Route 6 West to Buzzards Bay (Bourne), cross the Bourne Bridge, and follow Route 28 South to Falmouth and Woods Hole. Alternate Route from Boston: Follow I-95 to Route 24, then take 24 to I-495 South. Take I-495 South to Buzzards Bay (Bourne), cross the Bourne Bridge, and follow Route 28 South to Falmouth and Woods Hole. If you are planning to bring your automobile to the Island, it is required that you make an advanced ferry reservation. Call the Steamship Authority at (508) 477-8600 or check their web site below. If you are planning to leave your automobile on the mainland, you can park in the area maintained by the Steamship Authority in Falmouth and surrounding areas. Fast Ferry Service to Martha's Vineyard: Rhode Island to Martha's Vineyard ferry service departs Quonset Point, Rhode Island and arrives in Oak Bluffs, Marthas Vineyard. No more driving through all the summer traffic in Providence, Fall River and Cape Cod.

Plane Service to Martha's Vineyard: Cape Air flies from Boston, Hyannis, Nantucket, New Bedford, and Providence.
